What makes our service innovative is that it is shaped by the community and based on the grassroots demand which has fuelled Health Deafinitions since 2007. We continue to involve the community at every level of development of our products, bridging the gap between the community and service provision in a way that many other Deaf charities do not. Our current services and representation of the Deaf health inequalities are backed by this grassroots level research and conversation

We use current graphic design and animation technology in the production of our fluent BSL health presentations. This creates a visual learning environment which Deaf people are most inclined to intellectually and sensorily, under the certification of The Information Standard to ensure medical accuracy
